Thomas Rheingans and Llewellyn Roe have joined forces to present the 6th "Live at the Fries" concert series "Artistry in Rhythm." 18th Annual Weiler Choreography Competition

February 20, 2010 - 6:00 p.m.

Emerging choreographers from the greater Vancouver/Portland area will present their works in an informal studio setting, giving the audience the opportunity to fully experience the choreographic process. Audience members will enjoy a reception while the judges confer. An awards presentation will conclude the evening. Lantern Tours at Fort Vancouver

February 20, 2010 - 7:00pm-9:00pm

Past participants can attest, the fort is a very different place once the sun goes down, and the lantern tour is a wonderful opportunity to tour the fort at night. At each event, an adult attending the program will carry their own candle lantern and tour with park staff through some of the fort's most intriguing buildings, including the Counting House, Fur Store, Kitchen, Chief Factor's House, and Bake House. Led by a park ranger in Hudson's Bay Company attire, visitors will see first hand what it was like to live at the fort when the sun goes down. At the end of the tour, visitors will enjoy a hot cup of cider while having a chance to ask questions about the site. Location: Fort Vancouver National Historic Site 1001 E. Mel Brooks is surely the zaniest comic genius ever, and in the musical version of his hit movie The Producers, we see just how zany he really is. Who would have thought that a musical with the song Springtime for Hitler would prove to be an all time Broadway classic! The play won twelve Tony Awards, more than any other before it.
